Every time we ask a question, we’re generating a possible version of life
Services I offer
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy offers space to reflect on the patterns, choices, and experiences that shape your life and your story. For some, the work means untangling the past and how it shapes the present. For others, it’s about navigating transitions, finding balance under pressure, or choosing a path with greater intention.
Because many of my clients live across cultures, our work often includes nurturing a sense of belonging and connection while adapting to change. My approach combines structured therapeutic methods with openness to creativity, helping you uncover new perspectives and move toward a life that feels truly meaningful.
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy provides a space to be heard, to listen deeply, and to explore new ways of connecting. The work may involve repairing trust, navigating conflict, deepening intimacy, finding a shared path through change, or even parting with care and respect. Whatever the dynamics of your relationship, therapy supports both partners in expressing themselves fully and meeting one another with understanding and respect.
My training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and systemic approaches ensures the work is both practical and emotionally grounded. In cross-cultural relationships, this often involves navigating different expectations, communication styles, and cultural norms. Together we turn these differences into strengths that enrich your relationship instead of causing frustration. Beginning therapy before tensions peak helps rebuild trust, improve communication, and foster meaningful change.
Performance Psychology
Whether you are an athlete, a creative, or a high-performing professional, performance psychology can help you meet the mental and emotional demands of your craft. Therapy provides a space to explore how pressure, motivation, and self-belief shape your performance. Together, we develop a sense of steadiness, focus, and clarity to reduce performance anxiety, improve consistency, and overcome plateaus.
The work also extends beyond critical moments like creative deadlines or sporting competitions. It involves learning how to recover from setbacks, regulate stress, and maintain motivation over time. Together, we cultivate habits and perspectives that help you stay composed, present, and aligned with your goals, bringing balance to the intense focus and ambition that often drives high performance.
Finding the Right Fit
Therapy works best when it feels like the right match. I offer a complimentary consultation for those who would like space to share what brings them here, ask questions, and get a sense of whether we might work well together.
This brief call is not a therapy session but an introduction to help you make an informed decision. Others prefer to begin directly with a full first session, where the therapeutic work begins. If I believe another clinician would be better suited to your personality, communication style, or specific needs, I’ll connect you with trusted colleagues so you can receive the support that’s right for you.
What to Expect
Sessions last 50 minutes and can take place in person in Paris, online, or a blend of both. Weekly sessions are recommended to maintain connection and momentum, helping the work stay present in your day-to-day life. While this time becomes your regular space for support, we can adjust appointments week to week to accommodate your commitments and ensure sessions fit your schedule.
Next Steps
If you’d like to get started, you can either book a complimentary consultation or contact me directly at citadeltherapypractice@gmail.com to arrange a first session. I respond within 24 hours.
Whatever path you choose, I look forward to meeting you and exploring how we might work together.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Therapy can support you through life changes, relationship challenges, cultural transitions, stress, burnout, self-doubt and identity questions. These are common examples, but therapy is not limited to them. Whatever you are facing, it offers a supportive space to understand your experience and work toward change.
-
Therapy can help anyone looking to better understand themselves, navigate challenges, or improve their relationships. Because everyone encounters stress, grief, major life changes, and difficult decisions, therapy can be valuable at any stage. It’s simply a space to gain insight, build resilience and proactively make meaningful changes in life.
-
It depends on your needs and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. Short-term work might last around three months and focus on a specific challenge. If you are looking for deeper, lasting change, therapy is often longer term, typically between six and twelve months. Many clients choose to continue beyond this, as new concerns arise or they find that therapy supports them in different ways at different stages of life.
-
No. I see clients face-to-face in Paris, but I also work with people online from anywhere in the world, making therapy accessible regardless of location.
-
Yes. Online sessions provide the same supportive and focused space as in-person therapy, with added flexibility for fitting sessions into your schedule, maintaining consistency, and accessing therapy from anywhere in the world. Many clients also find that being in their own space helps them feel more comfortable and in control, making it easier to open up and engage fully.
-
The first session is guided by what you want to focus on. If you already have specific goals or challenges in mind, we can work on those right away. That said, it’s also fine if you’re not sure. Lots of people seek therapy because they’re lacking clarity. It’s completely okay not to know exactly what you’re looking for. If needed, I will ask questions to help explore what’s most important to you and guide the direction of the session. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance. Simply showing up and being open is enough to begin the process.
-
No referral is required. You can contact me directly to arrange a first session and see if therapy feels like a good fit. If you have been referred by a colleague, friend, or another professional, you are welcome to mention this when booking. I also accept referrals from healthcare or mental health colleagues.
-
I offer sessions in English and French and often work with individual clients from cross-cultural backgrounds, as well as couples where one partner is anglophone and the other speaks French or another language. Mixing languages in sessions is common and always welcome, ensuring everyone can express themselves comfortably and be fully understood.
-
Yes. Online sessions make it possible for both partners to join from wherever they are, so therapy can continue consistently even if you live apart or travel frequently.

Sometimes therapy doesn’t feel effective right away, and it can take finding the right approach or working with a therapist who fits your needs. We’ll explore your past experiences and what didn’t work, so we can create an approach that better supports you and helps you make meaningful progress.
